Belize All-Inclusive Resorts: Published Prices, and What 'All-Inclusive' Actually Covers

Verified on 25 September 2026, on the own rate, package and policy pages of each resort named below, and on three of their booking engines, searched for two adults on 10–14 November 2026 and 9–13 February 2027.

“All-inclusive” does not mean the same thing at any two Belize resorts we read. Eight publish or display a package price, and per person per night for two sharing it runs from US$149.83 (Orchid Bay’s Travelzoo voucher, tax and service extra) to US$432.63 (Coco Plum Island Resort in November, tax included by its own policy) — our arithmetic on each resort’s own figure. Six of the eight include local alcohol. Hamanasi’s package, filed on its site under “belize-all-inclusive-packages”, says “Soda and alcoholic beverages not included”, and Chaya Maya’s packages list no drinks at all. Three put tax and service inside the whole price and Portofino inside its meal-and-drinks plan only; Orchid Bay and Chaya Maya add tax on top; and Laru Beya’s and Belizean Dreams’ booking engines show a nightly price without saying whether tax is in it.

So the headline price is only comparable once you know three things about it: whether the bar is in it, whether the tax is in it, and whether it is a published rate or a time-limited promotion.

The prices, per person per night

All figures are in US dollars, as each resort’s own page or booking engine showed them on 25 September 2026. The last-but-one column is our arithmetic: the package price divided by its nights and by two people.

Portofino’s per-person figure is our arithmetic in two steps: US$200 plus 9% and 10% is US$238 for the room; split between two people and added to the US$120 plan, that is US$239.00 each.

Three of the eight are sister properties. Coco Plum’s site has an “explore our sister resorts” menu, and its booking engine lists Belizean Dreams (from US$569.13 a night) and Laru Beya (from US$449.80) under “Explore our other properties”. All three use the same booking engine and the same package structure, so they are not three independent readings of what an all-inclusive costs in Belize.

The engine prices are promotions with dates on them. Laru Beya’s November price carries “Summer Unplugged - $125 off per night (gross)”, Belizean Dreams’ “Summer Unplugged - $100 off per night (gross)”, and Coco Plum’s “Last Call Flash Sale - $100 OFF Per Couple, Per Night (Gross)”. For 9–13 February 2027 the same engines showed:

Both February promotions are an “Early Bird Special - $35 off per night (gross)”. Belizean Dreams also sells a “Mayan Jungle & Beach Package” with more tours, at US$55.75 a night more than its all-inclusive package on the same rooms (Boutique Room in November: US$624.88 against US$569.13).

What “all-inclusive” covers, resort by resort

Nothing in the table is a gratuity. Beaches and Dreams says “Gratuities are not included” and Coco Plum “Rates do not include gratuity”.

Full board is a different product, and two resorts price it. Victoria House on Ambergris Caye includes a continental breakfast in its room rate and sells “FAP (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)” at US$110.00 per adult a day, with the instruction “Please add 23.75% tax & service charge to meals” — US$136.13 per adult per day, our arithmetic, and it publishes no drinks plan. Hamanasi’s rates page lists “Breakfast, Lunch and 3 Course Dinner” at $110 under “Prepaid Meal Packages”, beneath a note that “Rates are per person per meal and a service charge and sales tax are included in rates”; our Belize trip cost page reads that as US$110 per person per day. Neither is an all-inclusive: the bar is extra at both.

Who can go: children and adults-only

• Coco Plum Island Resort is adults only: guests “must be 18 years of age or older”, children are allowed “only … if the entire island is rented”, and “At this time we do not accommodate solo travelers”. The same policies page says its sister properties Belizean Dreams and Laru Beya do accommodate children.
• Orchid Bay contradicts itself on the same page: the offer “is available for adults 19 and older”, and further down “if you’re travelling as a family, kids aged 10 and under stay and eat free”. Extra guests are US$135 a night per adult (14+) and US$75 per child aged 11–13. Its all-inclusive alcohol age is 19.
• Thatch Caye prices children separately: “Child 5 yrs and under FREE”, “6 - 12 yrs old $90 USD”, “Adults (13+) Included in Rate”.
• Laru Beya charges adult rates from 13, child rates from 2 to 12, and nothing under 2.
• Beaches and Dreams sells a Family package for 2 adults and 1 child at US$7,335 (Discount), US$8,161 (Standard) and US$8,987 (Holiday), hotel or duplex.

Seasons: what the same package costs at other times

Beaches and Dreams’ holiday price for two works out at US$539.57 per person per night (our arithmetic). Hamanasi’s 2026 low season runs 11 July–4 September, 26 September–20 November and 30 November–18 December; it is closed 5–25 September 2026. Its package page dates the High season only as 6 January–10 April 2026 and prints no price for its Peak season (19 December 2026–4 January 2027), so its High column is a 2026 figure, not a holiday one. A single traveller in a Hamanasi beachfront room pays US$4,217 in the low season against US$2,952 sharing.

What the package premium buys: one worked example

Beaches and Dreams publishes both its room rates and its packages, so the difference can be read off its own pages. Its hotel room in the Discount season is US$200 a night, and its rates page says “Prices do not include an 18% hotel tax and service fee”. Seven nights of room alone for two: US$1,652 with the 18% (our arithmetic). The seven-night Beach and Jungle package for two in the same season: US$5,902, taxes included. The US$4,250 difference pays for the food, the drinks, the transfer from the international airport and four tours. Its site was also running a banner on 25 September 2026, “Get 50% Off Rooms Through October 2026”, which applies to rooms; its room-only prices are on our Hopkins page.

The build-it-yourself version at a Cayo lodge that does not price its inclusive package: The Lodge at Chaa Creek lists its “Belize Adventure Inclusive” package with no price. Its rates page charges US$409 a night for a Cottage Collection room with breakfast, plus 9% hotel tax and 12% service; lunch US$20 and a 4-course dinner US$55, plus 12.5% GST and 12% service. Room, lunch and dinner for two comes to US$681.64 a night before drinks and tips — our arithmetic, adding the percentages simply as the page lists them, because it does not say whether they compound. Tax and service: in the price, on top, or unsaid

• Included, by the resort’s own words: Hamanasi’s packages, Beaches and Dreams’ packages, Portofino’s All-Inclusive Plan, and Coco Plum (“include all taxes/fees”).
• Added on top: Orchid Bay (“do not include taxes or service fee”, no rate given); Thatch Caye (12.5% sales tax plus 10% service); Chaya Maya (12.5%); Portofino’s rooms (9% hotel tax plus 10% service, the same split our tipping and prices page lists for it); Beaches and Dreams’ rooms (18%); Victoria House’s meals (23.75%).
• Service included, tax not stated: Laru Beya and Belizean Dreams. Both package pages list “All resort fees and service charge” among the inclusions, but their booking engines display the nightly figure with no tax line on the results screen. Each resort’s policies page says its prices are “clearly listed in our booking system, with applicable taxes and service fees added for your convenience”, which does not say whether the figure on that screen already has them in. The next booking step did not open for us, so we could not see a total.

Thatch Caye’s two pages disagree about service. Its all-inclusive page says the package rates “don’t include 12.5% sales tax + 10% service charge”; its FAQ says “All rates and any activity include a service charge” and then “Tipping is customary in Belize and 10-15% is standard”.

Thatch Caye

Every Thatch Caye reservation, on its own site, “includes our All-Inclusive, Island Style Package”: three chef-prepared meals a day, unlimited local non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, the round-trip boat from Dangriga airport, the Marine Reserve Access Fee, and kayaks, paddleboards and snorkel gear. The boat is “the 25 minute, 9 mile boat ride from Dangriga to the island”, with pick-ups at the Pelican Beach Resort dock “daily at 2:30pm and 4:30pm (subject to change)”. Reaching Dangriga is not included: the resort lists the “Muy’Ono Explorer $150 US round trip, per person” from Belize City, about 2 hours by van, or a 15-minute commuter flight. We found no adult nightly rate on any Thatch Caye page we read; its booking engine is protected by a reCAPTCHA and showed no rooms, and we did not go further.

What the resorts don’t publish

• A package price from Thatch Caye outside its reCAPTCHA-protected booking engine, and from Chaa Creek for its Belize Adventure Inclusive (its page offers a contact form only).
• Whether Laru Beya’s and Belizean Dreams’ displayed nightly price includes tax.
• What tax and service rate Orchid Bay adds. Its page says only that they are not included.
• Coco Plum’s own printed rates. Its package page says “The prices below are our regular seasonal package rates” and prints no rates below; prices appear only in its booking engine.
• Coco Plum in February 2027 — no rooms matched our 9–13 February search, so there is no high-season figure here.
• Prices from Royal Belize and Blackbird Caye. Royal Belize’s pages we read describe an “All Inclusive Service” and Blackbird Caye’s packages page lists what its scuba and snorkelling packages include; neither showed a price on the pages we read.
• Any Caye Caulker all-inclusive. We found none.

What we did not check

These are our limits, not the resorts’: we searched each booking engine for two adults on two date ranges only; we did not go past the results screen to a total or to payment; we did not read reviews or visit; and several resort sites could not be read on 25 September 2026 — Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge’s packages page returned HTTP 403, Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge’s domain did not resolve, and the domains of Cayo Espanto, St George’s Caye Resort and Turneffe Island Resort did not resolve to our requests.

How we researched this

Scope: this page reports source research, not a stay. On 25 September 2026 we read each resort’s own rates, package and policy pages. Orchid Bay’s price is the Travelzoo voucher printed on its own all-inclusive page, not a rack rate. Laru Beya’s, Belizean Dreams’ and Coco Plum’s prices are what their booking engine displayed in an ordinary browser with default settings, for two adults on 10–14 November 2026 and 9–13 February 2027, before and after the promotions it showed. Thatch Caye’s engine, which carries a reCAPTCHA, rendered no rooms and was not pursued. The drinks, meals, transfers, tours, minimum stays and child rules come from each resort’s package and policy pages.

Figures labelled our arithmetic are calculated by us from the sourced figures: per-person-per-night prices, tax additions, and the Beaches and Dreams and Chaa Creek comparisons. Every other figure is reproduced as its resort published or displayed it.
