Great question Alexandra! If I can find an airbnb that is cheaper than the hostel, I’ll def opt for the airbnb – because of privacy. I dont mind hostels at all though. They’re the most affordable otpion and the best way to meet other travelers. Like I said, the biggest downside is privacy but you do get to meet so many people so I feel like its great for solo travelers. I have a few recent blog posts about hostels too!

Girl, you stayed in Old San Juan, so yes, the Air BnB seems totally worth it. Those homes are lovely and you’re in the heart in PR.
