Thank you for your insights on this new reality of travel. I agree with your decision not to travel at this time, but as you said this virus isn’t going to magically disappear anytime soon, so we might as well prepare ourselves on how to travel in a Covid-19 world. Whilst I dream of visiting the Philippines as my first trip post travel ban, I know that this country will be a high risk due to the lack of structural plan from the Philippine government. So, I guess I will have to find somewhere else to go when I deem it safe. But that makes me wonder what countries will be safe by the time I want to travel, and will the countries deemed low risk tickle the travel bug in me at all? To make any of my future travel safer for myself and others I would get Covid-19 tests before and after, which I think should be compulsory. I agree that we are all going to have to adapt and learn to navigate the new reality of travel, travel is my favourite form of education and I’m sure that I, and many, will learn new things about the world when we are exploring it again.
